When Togetic didn't respond, he threw back his head and wailed, which actually would have been very cute if it hadn't been so sad.
Yep, it's fanart for a fanfic...an awesome fanfic called "The Legend of Eevee: Pokeflute of Time", by that one little guy!

Anyway, it's actually a really funny story, but this one particular scene just really stuck with me, due to how serious but cute it was, so I had to draw it. This particular scene takes place in Chapter 21 in the Fire Temple. Pikachu is wearing a Metal Claw, and has the Light Ball strapped to his back. If you haven't read the story yet, just know that he's got green spots and ears because he was born that way.
Anyway, half-assed background is half-assed, because I was too lazy to be bothered to fire up my 3DS to go look around the boss room of the Fire Temple, so I scribbled it from memory. 
Anyway, the story is awesome, so you should all go read it! 
Done with Pilot Pens, Prismacolor pens, and Prismacolor markers.

Really though I'm so glad you liked the story enough to do a fanart of it I think the background looks pretty accurate so don't worry bout that lol. Man this is really inspiring me to get cracking on the sequel.
